National Campout

Typically held every 3 – 5 years, a provincial Junior Forest Warden association will host a National gathering of wardens and their families, camping together and enjoying a week of educational and entertaining sessions for every learning and age level. Professional and volunteer instructors provide ½ and full day sessions that total hundreds of choices, offering education, skill development, entertainment and fun.

Families generally eat their meals together, and go their separate ways during session times to the programs they have individually selected with the full confidence that children are receiving qualified instruction in a safe environment. All National Camp attendees gather together in the evening for a different type of entertainment each night, followed by campfires and fellowship. National Camps are always what people remember most fondly about their Junior Forest Warden experience, and talk about for years and years afterward. It truly is an experience that has to be lived to be properly understood!
